Consulting

Facilitation & Team Development

Since 2000 I have worked with the consulting firm Gilburg Leadership, Inc. At GLI, we help leaders, teams, and organizations adapt and grow—collaboratively, and with a focus on sharing power, inviting diverse perspectives, building relationships, and drawing on collective knowledge.

I occasionally accept independent consulting/facilitation projects with local organizations. I have helped non-profits and small businesses plan for change, resolve long-standing tensions, clarify goals and roles, and develop simple practices of organizational learning.

Equity Lens

In all my consulting work, I aim to attend to the ways in which power is being shared or consolidated; white supremacy culture is being perpetuated or consciously countered or dismantled; and relationships are being nurtured or harmed, centered or neglected.

If you’re a leader, change agent, or motivated individual who wants to foster authentic relationships across differences (of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, etc.) and build a more equitable and inclusive organization or community, having an ally for the journey is essential. This could take the form of individual coaching or consulting/facilitation/team development—or both.
